Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my treatment program last?
Our standard inpatient residential program lasts 28 days. Our staff will work with you to determine the best course of action for your treatment.
What will I be doing during my stay?
The residential treatment environment at Pecan Haven is based on the Therapeutic Community model. In this model, clients learn vital social and interpersonal skills and learn to accept the viewpoints and experiences of others. Through a substance-free community, engagement and peer support, clients in this model work together to solve problems. The size and design of our community and campus provide a unique opportunity to create a working model of health peer interaction and healing. Under the guidance of counselors, denial is overcome, behavioral patterns are challenged, self-disclosure begins, changes in mindset occur and long-term sobriety skills are taught. Our residents come to support each other through their early recovery and beyond.
Can I have visitors?
No visitors are allowed during treatment during this time.
